Obituary of John J. Maziarz

John J. Maziarz 1931 – 2017 Clinton John Maziarz, 85, of Clinton, NY, passed into the arms of our savior on, June 20, 20l7, with his family by his side, after a long illness. His remarkable courage and grace through this battle was an inspiration and blessing to all who knew him. John was a proud veteran who served with the U.S. Army in Berlin during the Air Lift. He was employed with Griffiss Air Force Base for 30 years, prior to his retirement in 1986. John is survived by his wife Jean, with whom he shared 38 years, sons; Stan of Norton, Kansas, Mike of Groveland, California, Steve of Altus, Oklahoma, Mark of Camden, NY, Mike St. Louis (wife Terry) of Elko, NV., and daughter Karen Morin (husband Joe) of Andrews, NC. Also surviving are his eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, as well as many much loved nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of the Kowalczyk Funeral Home Inc., Utica. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
