Obituary of Lawrence M. Kinne

Lawrence M. Kinne 1939-2017 Utica, NY/Barefoot Bay, FL- Lawrence (Larry) M. Kinne, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2017, at his daughter's home in Waterville, NY after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Utica on November 1, 1939, the son of the late Dorothy and Miller Kinne. Lawrence was a Utica Free Academy graduate, where he was an avid swimmer and runner. He was owner/operator of the Hess gas station in Rome, NY for 27 years. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Mahoney; son, Donald (Angela) Kinne; daughters, Theresa Kinne, Diane (David) Barrett, Michele (Hans) Schachtler; grandchildren, Ryan and Kayla Barrett, Brandon Schachtler, Michael, Daniel and Amanda Barrett, Avery and Liana Kinne; One brother, William (Barbara) Kinne; One Uncle, Kenneth (Barbara) Kinne. Larry is also survived by his in-laws, Richard (Jaquie) Mahoney, Daniel (Sharon) Mahoney, Sharon (Roger) Petrillo; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, a private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 1st at 11am at St. Mary's Cemetery in Clinton, NY.
