Obituary of John L. Synakowski

John L. Synakowski, Sr. 1930 – 2018 Trenton John L. Synakowski, Sr. 87, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Trenton on June 17, 1930 the son of Stanley and Katarzyna Hlipula Synakowski and attended Whitesboro Schools. On June 30, 1956 he was married to Theresa Suszynski in Holy Trinity Church; a loving union shared for over 61 years. John owned and operated a dairy farm in Trenton along with his wife and family since 1959. He truly enjoyed farming and his life experiences on the farm. He will be remembered as one who was mechanically inclined and had a unique ability to solve problems. His survivors include his beloved wife Theresa of Trenton; seven children and their spouses John L. Jr. and Ellen Synakowski of Trenton, James and Anita Synakowski of Verona, Robert and Carol Synakowski of Trenton, Richard and Michelle Synakowski of Trenton, Cynthia and Stephen Kaminski, Sr. of Clinton, Stanley and Teresa Synakowski of NC and Michael and Tiffany Synakowski of Holland Patent; his brothers Walter Synakowski of Remsen, Henry Synakowski of Holland Patent and Bernard Synakowski of Newport and a sister Frances Kosakowski of Schuyler. Also included are his 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, "his special puppies" Patch and Annie and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of life which will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Those who wish may call on Friday from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 1156 Lincoln Ave. Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
