Stanley Klimek, 94, of Rochester, N. Y. formally of Utica and Delray Beach, Fl.
Born Sept. 18, l923 in Utica passed away in his home with his adoring family by his side.
He was the son of the late Paul and Barbara Bielec Klimek.
He married Jane Pilawa, July 4, 1943 in a military wedding at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. His beloved Jane passed away Dec.6, 2016 after 73 years of marriage.
Stanley was a proud Army Veteran of World War II. While getting out & about with his children, he loved when people approached him to thank him for his service. He never left the house without his WW II cap.
While residing in Utica, Stanley was a manager for American Emblem, New Hartford. He moved to Rochester in 1967 and became the co-owner of Stuart, Oliver & Holtz Metal Finishing Co. until his retirement.
He leaves his loving family, including,
four daughters and sons-in-law:

The passing of Stanley's youngest son, Mark Paul Klimek, to cancer, on July 16, 2017, was a heartbreaking loss for Stanley.
Also predeceased by brothers, Anthony and Walter Klimek,
Stanley loved having his family around him. He always bragged about having "The Best Kids". He and Jane had many happy years together at their home in Delray Beach, Fl. They had fond memories of their trips around the world, especially Poland, the homeland of their parents.
A very special thank you for the love & respect in caring for our father, goes to Meredith, Kiran & Angela, of Caring Hearts of Rochester and Joanne & her staff.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Those who wish may call on Monday Morning from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 1156 Lincoln Ave., Utica. Burial with Military Honors will take place in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Stanley's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 441 West Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
