Obituary of Marie A. Murray

Marie Murray 1939 – 2018 Whitesboro Marie A. Murray, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at the Siengenthaler Center. She was born in Utica on January 1, 1939 the daughter of Joseph and Helen Bielawa Yaletchko and received her education in local schools. On February 11, 1961 she was united in marriage to James Murray, a blessed union until his passing in 2012. Marie was employed with the U.F.C.W. Local 1 for over twenty years until her retirement in 2008. Her survivors include her son and daughter –in- law, James M. and Joan Murray, of GA; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Murray of GA; two sisters and a brother, Dorothy LaBarbera, of Frankfort, Luba Yaletchko, of Utica and Joseph Yaletchko of Utica. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great - nieces, great - nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Nicholas Yaletchko. In keeping with Mrs. Murray's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 10 a.m.at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Utica. The Murray family will be receiving visitors immediately following the funeral mass in the vestibule of the church. Marie's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Siengenthaler Center for the wonderful care shown to her during her stay.
