Obituary of Candice M. Bosiak

Candice Marie Bosiak 1952 – 2018 Utica/SC Candice Marie Bosiak, 66, formerly of New Hartford, NY most recently resided in Bluffton, South Carolina passed away on Monday, November 26th 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Utica, NY on January 7, 1952 and attended Utica Free Academy. She received her Bachelor Degree from the State University of Oswego. On August 16, 1975 she married her soulmate, Aleksander H. Bosiak in Holy Trinity Church; a loving union shared for over 43 years. She was a dedicated employee at Met Life for 40 years until her retirement in 2013. She is forever known to be the foundation of her family. A loving, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all, who knew her. She often referred to her sons her "her boys" and enjoyed many vacations with the love of her life Alex. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren including summers on Cape Cod and trips to Albany, New York to visit her newest grandson. She enjoyed swimming, cooking, dancing and walks along the beach with Alex & Molly. She had a special love for Christmas, always making the holidays fun. She is survived by her loving husband, Aleksander H. Bosiak, Her eldest son Dorian A. Bosiak and his wife Mary Lynn and their twins, Connor & Grace of Connecticut. Her son, Derek Bosiak of Savanna, Georgia, and Aleksander S. Bosiak and his wife Tara and their son Aleksander Joseph of Albany, NY. Her sister, Teddy and Lee Helmer of Bluffton, SC. She is also survived by her loving daughter with paws, Molly. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Theodore and Rose Wojcik. A special thank you, to Dr. Butala & her cousin Dianne Canfield. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund supporting the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Saturday, December 15th 2018 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Utica.
