Obituary of Edward Algustowski

Edward Algustowski Utica Edward Algustowski, 64, a lifelong are resident passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Presbyterian Home for CNY. He was born in Utica on July 15, 1954, the son of Edward and Doris Sunderlin and received his education in local schools. Edward was employed with the New York State Canal System for many years until his retirement. His survivors include his lifelong companion, Gisela Nieto and his children, Shannon Algustowski, Dawn MacGibbon and Edward Mack. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Peter Algustowski, John Algustowski, Steven Richards, Bonnie Schmidt, Tina Algustowski and Elizabeth Griffigh, as well as eleven grand children. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Those who wish may call on Thursday (today) from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 1156 Lincoln Ave., Utica. Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
