I love you, Marion. So sorry to find out just now why you haven’t called me.
No one let me know when you died. I wish someone reading this would tell me how you died and how long you were ill. With what? We had talked at New Year’s about my boyfriend’s death, and you told me about your upcoming cataract surgery, but no illness. Was there something else? You had so many plans to cook and dance and see family.
We met at the polkas at Yesterday’s Royal, and after a year or so, you were saving me a seat at your table just as if I was one of polka crowd from your neighborhood. Where I live in NY we've never had anything - no Polish or any kind of polka music ever. You invited me to visit you and go dancing, but I lived too far away. We both believed that ladies should always wear skirts to dances, so that was our little joke when we were the only ones. I used to bring tomatoes for everyone from my garden (I still do to the fall polka in Fulton NY) and saved special ones for you and Frank.
How empty life will be without you to talk with. We seniors have so much love inside and so few friends with whom to share it. Now I have no one to send an Easter card to. My prayers will have to do.

I was shocked and sad to learn of my sister getting her angel wings.
Glad we spoke just a few days prior as Marion was offering prayers and thoughts of her own to my family.
Love to all
