Obituary of Julia Phelps

Julia Phelps 1926 – 2019 Murfreesboro, TN – Julia Phelps (née Baran), 93, born in Utica, NY and a resident of New Hartford for most of her life, passed away on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 with her family by her side. Her parents Jan & Antoinette Baran were immigrants from Poland and had lived on Fay Street in Utica, NY. She was predeceased by her loving husband Grant of 35 years in 1982, her brothers Joseph, Walter and Eddie and sisters Katy, Mary and Phyllis. She is survived by her daughter Donna (husband Harold McEathron) and son Ron (wife Carla) whom both reside in Tennessee. Julia is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be granddaughters Rone' Phelps, Kelly & Kimberly McEathron and grandsons Austin, Nathan & Eathon Phelps. A private service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 23rdat the Kowalczyk Funeral Home on 1156 Lincoln Ave, Utica with entombment at Holy Trinity Cemetery Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, 1500 Champlin Ave, Whitestown.
