I just read about the recent death of Scott and I know the Owens family and loved ones have saddened hearts today. So I wanted to share beautiful scripture where our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this short, faith strengthening video: "Can The Dead Really Live Again?"

You are in my prayers.

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Owens I send my condolences to you and your family.
I'm a firm believer in cherishing our friends. I consider Scott a loyal friend. Over the years I've chatted with Scott about numerous things, like, how great it is to have places in Clinton to let our dogs roam while breathing in the fresh country air to which whisky is best.
Scott always took the time to wave or just chat for a bit. Every morning I would always see him with his dogs on board in his Jeep Wrangler heading out for an adventure... From time to time we would run into each other in the Glenn and walk our dogs and talk about any and everything. I knew he was a true gentle sole and dog lover when I saw him coming through the pathway between the high school and Elm street with his Labradors. One was getting to old to walk (can't remember the name)and he pulled the dog along in a wagon.
I'm going to miss seeing Scott, but I'll think of him always.
God bless you and your family.
Cheers to Scott.

To Scott's mom and dad, all of his siblings, nieces and nephews, my heart aches for the loss of Scotty, ever so kind and polite and honest. I pray very night, often is the middle of the night, as I lie awake wishing I could have helped him know how many people would be so saddened by his death. I miss him every day. We all do. I worked with him and had the pleasure of talking with him when we were in the courtroom before anyone else came in and often throughout the day as I would stay there to complete my work. He had such a nice and gentle way about him that is hard to find in this world we live in. He was witty. He was so real. I'm sorry i acquiesced to his body language that kept us all at arm's length. I'm sorry you lost such a beautiful soul. Please know that he will forever be part of my prayers. You all will. I believe his Heavenly Mother and Father welcomed him home with open arms. May he Rest In Peace eternally.
God bless you all. May your faith carry you.
With all my heart,
Therese

Scott had a quiet kindness for which I was so grateful to have received. I felt fortunate to see his sensitive, caring compassionate side. His brain was miraculous, he had an unbelievable ability to recall details and dates, facts and figures. The first time I met him he kept using the pronoun WE to describe where he liked to walk..,WE walk everyday in the Glen. When asked who the WE was..., I learned of his absolute unwavering love of his (and all) dogs. We all walked the Glen and other beautiful places together in all seasons. He truly appreciated nature and the outdoors. I wish for him the greatest peace both of mind and body. He will be remembered and loved forever. May the hereafter be filled with wild blackberries, labs and amazing music.
